Its a simple formula A + E = E ( Attention + Energy = Experience )
Energy flows where attention goes.
Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about this alot. He says thoughts are in the past (memories/ experiences we RE- Member i.e we put the parts back together to remember a memory).
Thinking is now, and in the future.
So when you wake up thinking about your problems, you connect with the emotions of that problem of the past, make sense.
And what you think, or engage in thought about, directly effects how you feel, and how you feel immediately influences your actions, behaviour, how you react and respond.
SO today are you focused on what's wrong in your body, with your health, your relationships, your work, or your life?
Are you focussing on and talk about what you don't want or are you focussed on what you want?
Seriously think about that now, ruminate on that last thought, was it what you want or what you don’t want?
As a Mental Performance Coach, I know the mind doesn't know the difference between real experience or virtual ( i.e fake ).
The mind is an invisible muscle you get to train. How you train it is up to you!
Practice is what creates the habit and the shift.
Ever thought, I want to buy a new car, you know the name, model, and colour you want and all of a sudden you keep seeing that model of car everywhere you go? This happens!
Well, the Reticular activation system (RAS) in the brain will help bring examples forward of what you are looking for. This is real! So, why not use this to your advantage!
Creating a new habit of focussing on:
1. What positive changes and shifts you are witnessing in your body and health,
2. What is working well
3. What you'd like more of, will all help you to train your attention and your awareness.
It is worth taking the time to do this. You are worth your time, your energy, your focus, NEVER FORGET ( A+E=E )
